Decoration is always a matter of reasons. My granpa was a carpenter and once he tried to explain me why the edges of his tables were always decorated: the reason was that he could not doing them perfectly straight, so that was to hide imperfections.I was young, not even thought to become a designer, but that was tattooed in my mind for years. When I became a designer, it evolved to a way of thinking. There is always a reason for everything.Design is always an answer to a question. In the picture Vela, recently edited by the Brasilian brand Iludi#designprocess #industrialdesign

Save this one under "powder room goals."Golden accents, moody floral wallpaper, and eye-catching textures marry for a timelessly chic composition. The vanity's artfully hammered sink and reeded doors add depth against a warm palette. Designer @samanthasteininteriors incorporated our classic Edie Sconce in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass by Thomas O'Brien to top off the space. #visualcomfort๐ท: @carolinesharpnackhttps://bit.ly/3ScHO8e

Happy Valentines Day lovelies. Today we celebrate love and all things pink of course! ๐.On any normal day though, let's just say pink is not a part of my vocabulary. Especially when it comes to design. We automatically assume when it comes to pink, that we need to cover every wall with pretty in pink paint. By simply, being subtle makes a bigger statement than making a bold move or paint choice. .Don't you love this design?! The pink in a wallpaper or accent pieces in the decor are all that's needed to be a noticeable accent color within a black and white design palette. ๐ค๐ฉท๐ค#qcdesignbykimcorbin #residentialdesign #interiordesign #officedesign #blackandwhitedesign #pinkaccent #quadcitiesdesign

Remember that the most important aspect of designing your home is that it feels comfortable and authentic to you. One way to do this is to showcase personal items. Display items that hold sentimental value or reflect your interests and hobbies. This could include family photos, artwork, or collections that tell your unique story. These are unique to you and something you most likely won't find in someone else's space, either!Lastly, to avoid a sterile or overly uniform look, consider layering decor elements. Mix and match patterns, incorporate various textures, and use a variety of decorative items like candles, vases, and artwork to add personality. #MontgomerysFurniture #InteriorDesign #QualityHomePieces #DesignTips #HomeDecor
