Dead are James T. Lane, 40, 305 Oak street, Valparaiso; David R. Pfeiffer, 22, of Wheeler and a former resident of Kouts; and Kemon (Kominakis) Kamos 30, Lenburg road, Portage, a former resident of Rensselaer. Lane died at 10:50 p.m.
Sunday at Wesley Memorial hospital in Chicago from injuries suffered at 2:15 a.m. in a one-car crash on U. S. 30, at the south Body Found In Lake CHESTERTON The body of a 10-year-old boy, one of six victims of an airplane crash March 8 ipe Jake Michigan near Chicago, was found Sunday along the beach at Dunes State park by four Boy Scouts from Whiting. The body of Edward H.
Litchfield, was found at 9:45 a. m. Sunday about 2 miles east of the state park pavilion, Porter County Coroner Leonard Wetmore reported. Wetmore was notified of the finding of the body by William Svetic, park superintendent, after the scouts advised him that a body was washed up on the beach. Still missing is the body of a five-year-old brother, DeForest.
The body of the father, Dr. Edward H. Litchfield, 53, Coudersport, was found about five miles northeast of Chicago's lakeside airport, Meigs field, the day following the fatal crash in thick fog. Litchfield was board chairman of Smith Corona Marchant, and former chancellor at University of Pittsburgh. The body of the pilot of the private twin engine plane was found March 13, while the body of the boys' grandmother, Ethel was found last Friday and the body of the mother, Mary, was recovered last Saturday.
78 Cast Ballots Interest in Tuesday's primary among absentee voters, is reflected in a final report today by the absentee voters board, Mrs. Catherine DeFries, Democrat, and Mrs. Mary Frances Babco*ck, Republican. As of close of official business Saturday noon, 78 persons cast absentee. ballots in the special booth on the third floor of the courthouse.
The office had open for the statutory 17 Of the 231 absentee ballots mailed to qualified voters, only 114 had been returned, according to the report today. S. 30 when his car went out of control. His 1563 Oldsmobile traveled 570 feet along the median strip and then crashed into the abutment of the folk and Western railroad overpass, one half mile east of Ind. 2. Lane was brought to Porter Memorial hospital and then taken to the Chicago hospital.
He reportedly suffered multiple laceration, fractured pelivs, dislocated hip and head injuries. Pfeiffer was killed at 7:20 m. today when car prently swerved into the on- coming traffic lane on Ind. 130 near CR 475W and collided with an empty tanker truck driven by Billy J. Risner, 25, Knox, sheriff's deputies reported.
Two witnesses verified the truck driver's report. Pfeiffer was probably killed instantly, deputies indicated. Risner was not hurt. Kamos was fatally injured when a car driven by Clarence Fauser, 76, Cedar Lake, reportedly pulled out in front of him as he was travelling south on Ind. 2 near CR 650S, sheriff's deputies said.
Kamos' semi tractor-trailer. jack-knifed as he tried to avoid the collision and left the road The steel load on the trailer apparently broke loose, slamming into the cab, killing Kamos. Fauser was arrested on charges of failing to yield the right of way. His car sustained $700 damage. Kamos' truck sustained $25,000 damage deputies said.

A painter by trade, Wiencken was employed by the Thunderbird Bowling Alley, LaPorte, at the time of his death. On June 6, 1925 at Valparaiso, he married Agnes Matt, who survives. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the Painters' union. Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Mrs.
Norman Sacks, LaPorte; one son, LaPorte; eight grandchildren. -He was preceded in death by three brothers. MARVIN I. SWYNENBERG Marvin I. Swynenberg, 59, 605 Lafayette, a resident of Valparaiso for 36 years, died Saturday at Porter Memorial hospital.
Born March 23, 1909 in McCool, he was the son of Charles Lee and Flora (Gott) Swynenberg. He married Grace Kinne, who survives. He was a member of the First Christian church and was a past president of. the Jaycees. He was employed as a decorator.
1. Surviving besides the widow are one son, Charles Lee of Aurora, two daughters, Mrs. Kenton (Kay) Hoover, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Bill (Karen) Tabler, Kouts; one brother, Floyd of Hobart; and nine grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one granddaughter.

D. Born in Porter. county, Feb. 11, 1884 she was the daughter of Ben and Dora (GGlissman) Hineline. She went to North Dakota to teach school when she was about 18, married and spent her life there.
She was a member of the Methodist church at Churchs Ferry. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ted Nelson, Devils Lake, N. Mrs. Floyd Peterson, Emigrant, and Mrs.
Kenneth Neckels, French Camp, eight sons, George, Leeds, N. City, County Offices, License Unit To Close: The Valparaiso branch of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will join governmental offices in the city and Porter county in observing primary election day by remaining closed all day Tuesday. Also to be closed Tuesday are treasurer's the Valparaiso city clerk office, sanitation and water departments. The Porter county courthouse, with the exception of the Social Security office, will suspend business South courthouse entrance will be used only for Center Precinct 3 voting.
North entrance will be open to persons having business with the Social Security office on the third floor. The Valparaiso post office (and window cleaning at business places is scheduled for Wednes day, with George Neeley in charge of Merchants Day. Thursday's School Day program will be headed by Garth Johnson. Planting of new shrubs at Valparaiso High school is one of school improvements planned. Youth Thrown From Vehicle PORTAGE Damages totaling $1,500 and minor. injuries to one driver in a two car accident on, Blake road, near Concord avenue Saturday evening, were reported today by Portage police. Police said a car driven 1 by Danny Purser, 17, 9811 Central, collided with a vehicle operated by Clark Coppinger, 34, 2880 Blake. Purser, who refused medical attention sustained scratches on the forehead and complained of arm pain.
He was thrown from the car, police said, According to reports, the Purser vehicle, which sustained $900 damage, was southbound on Blake road when the driver lost control on a crest, sideswiped the Coppinger car and struck a Northern Indiana Public Service utility pole. The car rolled over, coming to rest on the hood.
